By Elisha Neubauer

Nestled in one of Santa Fe's most important historical estates, the Inn of the Turquoise Bear offers guests a tranquil, beautiful setting to relax, all while being conveniently close to the most important sites of Santa Fe.

Once the home of Witter Bynner, a prominent Santa Fe resident during the height of the early 1900s, the estate has continually been the center of attention for creative fun-loving members of the Santa Fe community and visitors from abroad, hosting parties and events galore over its many years.

"We are nestled under towering pines with an acre of lush gardens featuring views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains," says Dan Clark, Owner/Innkeeper. "Our quintessential rambling adobe estate was once the home of Witter Bynner, American poet, writer and scholar." Clark continues, detailing Bynner's history.

"For almost 50 years, Witter helped to shape the richness of the Santa Fe arts culture with his close friends and frequent guests: O'Keeffe, Cather, Millay, Lawrence, Stravinsky, O Henry and many others. We have 11 bedrooms, 10 with kiva fireplaces, 40 inch mud adobe walls, meandering stone walkways, and colorful gardens, fountains, flowers."

When it comes to amenities, this stunning setting leaves you wanting for nothing. "Our Inn and rooms offer the following amenities," Clark announces. "Full Gourmet Breakfast, Concierge Services, House Baked Treats & Fresh Fruit, Twilight Wine Reception, Afternoon Tea Private On-Site Guest Parking, Complimentary Wi-Fi, Direct TV, Ecossential Elements bath products, Luxurious Linens & Towels, Luxurious Bath Robes, Water Bottles, Hair Dryers, ipad mini's in select rooms, and headboard reading lights."
